Cellopack to install the first OMET iFlex 440 press

OMET announces the upcoming installation of the first iFlex 440 at Egyptian company Cellopack, one of the leading players in the regional label industry.

Founded as a family business and today employing 380 people, The company specializes in the advanced coating and converting of high-quality self-adhesive materials, serving as a major supplier to printers across various international markets in Africa, the Middle East and mediterranean countries, in addition to its manufacturing dominance, the company remains a leading player in the Egyptian market, focusing on the production and distribution of premium, custom-made labels.

According to Mohamed Hamza, Managing Director of Cellopack, the decision to invest in the OMET iFlex 440 was driven by the extremely high print quality that aligns with Cellopack’s premium standards.

The new OMET iFlex 440 represents a significant evolution for the platform, traditionally available in 370 mm web width. The new 440 mm version combines the simplicity and reliability that made iFlex successful worldwide with increased production capacity and wider application possibilities.

Cellopack selected a fully equipped 10-color LED configuration including OMET Cold Foil Saver technology, designed to reduce foil consumption by more than 50%, self-wound lamination, the new Peel & Seal solution for multi-layer label production, and the ECDC die-cutting unit. The press is also prepared for the future integration of a digital bar for variable data printing, making the machine an ideal solution even for short-run applications.

Designed to make flexographic printing more accessible and efficient, the OMET iFlex platform stands out for its operator-friendly design, fast job changeovers and high automation level, ensuring excellent print quality and consistent production performance. The machine combines advanced technological solutions with ease of use, helping converters optimize productivity while reducing setup times and waste.
