OMET, Roberto Speri is the new Label Division Product Manager

Roberto Speri, 48, great experience in the label and packaging industry, joins the OMET team as Label Division Product Manager from June 3, 2019. It’s announced by Marco Calcagni, OMET Sales & Marketing Director.

Roberto Speri, electrical engineer, started his career as assembler and tester of screen printing machines at Franchini & Speri and got experience in all the label printing sectors: hot foil, roll-to-roll and roll-to-sheet die cutting. Tester for Iwasaki printing and ABG letterpress machines, founding partner of DMR Elettromeccanica srl, from 1997 to 2007 he was the Production Manager and Technical Sales Manager for Etipol A/S, leader in the semi-rotary letterpress and waterless offset sector.

In 2017 he joined Nilpeter Italia (also distributor of the ABG Int. brand since 2015) as Head of Customer Service, and then he took over the management of all After Sales activities. He managed technical assistance, spare parts and service contracts for the approximately 400 plants (Nilpeter + ABG) in Italy.

Thanks to his great experience, he joined OMET as Product Manager for the Label Division. “A choice moved by the desire of new incentives in a growing market and in a sparkling company” said Roberto Speri.
