Fin-Omet Group releases its first Sustainability Report
The Fin-Omet Group has released its first Sustainability Report, covering the 2022–2024 period. The document outlines the commitment of the Group and its main companies, OMET and OPAC, to environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters.
The Sustainability Report highlights the main actions undertaken in the areas of energy efficiency, reduction of environmental impact, people’s well-being, responsible innovation, and engagement with local communities, confirming the Group’s determination to create long-lasting value over time.
The Report marks an important milestone in the path of responsibility and transparency that Fin-Omet Group companies have been pursuing since their foundation, and demonstrates their intention to integrate sustainability as a strategic driver of growth and competitiveness.
“Sustainability has always been part of our way of doing business” states Antonio Bartesaghi, CEO of the Group. “With this first report, we wanted to give shape to a commitment that stems from our everyday work, highlighting the contribution of our people and companies and enabling us to approach future challenges with greater awareness. This is not an endpoint, but a concrete step in a continuous journey of improvement.”
Although not yet subject to the obligations of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the Fin-OMET Group chose to take inspiration from its principles, creating a structured reporting framework that highlights both the results achieved and the areas for future development. The final document represents a shared commitment to a sustainable growth model grounded in solidity, innovation and social responsibility.
