OMET GROUP AWARDS 43 SCHOLARSHIPS TO THE CHILDREN OF ITS EMPLOYEES
Molteno, November 19, 2025 – This year, 43 students received a scholarship from the OMET Group in recognition of their outstanding achievements during the 2024/2025 school year. The award ceremony was held on November 18, 2025, at the OMET Headquarters, in an event that highlights the Group’s commitment to supporting young people and promoting excellence.
The awardees are high school and university students who have distinguished themselves in their academic journey through outstanding school and university results. Antonio Bartesaghi, President of the OMET Group, who presented the scholarships alongside his sisters Raffaella and Paola Bartesaghi, addressed the students, drawing inspiration from the quote by Julio Velasco chosen for this year’s certificates: “I don’t like to say that everything will be fine. I prefer to say that things will turn out the way we make them turn out.”
“The message we want to convey is to be the authors of your own future,” said Bartesaghi. “You will encounter obstacles along the way, but don’t let them discourage you: the true value lies in your ability to improve by finding solutions and overcoming difficulties. This is the recipe for truly being proud of your achievements. Not even mistakes should stop you, as each one represents an opportunity to grow. Be ambitious dreamers, determined in reaching your goals, and always able to work as a team.”
“If you are here, it is because you are excellent, not just good,” Bartesaghi added. “This scholarship is a recognition of your efforts and an incentive to keep moving forward. I encourage you to start preparing for next year as well: the program will continue under the same terms, and it will be a pleasure to welcome you and many new participants again for the next scholarship awards.”
The OMET Group has been awarding scholarships for several years: an initiative that, in addition to showing support for its employees, aims to promote the values of merit and responsibility among young people, as well as the development of skills essential for the future of the region and the manufacturing industry.
