OMET installs multi process VaryFlex V2 in Ukraine
In the midst of a merciless war, Ukrpol, one of Ukraine’s leading printing companies, has recently enhanced its production capabilities with the installation of an OMET VaryFlex V2. Established in 1997 near Lviv, Ukrpol fortifies its position as an industry leader for the years to come with continuous investments in technology, quality management.
Despite the war, Ukrpol does not stop, continues to work, increasing its production capacity and even the geographical network of its sales. With a workforce of approximately 600 highly skilled employees spread across three modern production sites equipped with cutting-edge machinery, Urkpol is now an international company with its offices in big cities such as Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, and Warsaw.
In 2000, Ukrpol started production of foil labels, a strategic investment for its growth. In 2004 opened a new factory and in 2010 a second production site dedicated to cardboard packaging. Over the years, the company has consistently expanded its production capabilities and diversified its product range to meet evolving customer needs. Now its offer includes holograms, laminates, 3D packaging, envelopes, and other specialized products like flexible packaging based on aluminum foil.
OMET VaryFlex, a mid-web flexible packaging printing machine with the combined solvent based and UV technology, will expand the company’s production of shrink sleeve, food packaging products and will give an opportunity to increase the volumes of aluminum foil.
